Scholarships are awarded every year to undergraduate engineering students by Engineering Alliance Foundation Minnesota, the non-profit, charitable foundation of Engineering Alliance Minnesota.


The scholarship application cycle is now closed.




Am I eligible?

Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program at a college or university in the state of Minnesota and have at least sophomore status or above for the current school year are eligible to apply. Seniors graduating in the spring of 2020 are eligible.


Is the engineering program at my school ABET-accredited?

Engineering programs at the following Minnesota schools are ABET-accredited:

  • Iron Range Engineering
  • Twin Cities Engineering
  • University of Minnesota
  • University of Minnesota-Duluth
  • University of St. Thomas
  • Minnesota State University Mankato
  • St. Cloud State University
  • Winona State University

What criteria are used to award scholarships?

Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, essay and personal statement, work and volunteer experience, a letter of recommendation and more.


When can I apply?

We will open the application cycle in September 2020, with a closing date (deadline of) TBD.

What is the Engineering Alliance Foundation Minnesota?

Engineering Alliance Foundation Minnesota promotes careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). We do this by providing scholarships to college students, sponsoring and staffing STEM community events, and providing financial support to existing education and outreach programs.
