Q: What is the cost of membership?


Young Engineer Membership: $120/year (age 30 and younger)

Engineer Membership: $240/year

Senior Engineer Membership: $180/year (age 65 and older)

Student Membership: Free while in school and for one full year after graduation


You have the option to pay your dues in full or to make four payments over one year.


Create an Organization Membership and receive a 10% discount on dues for your employee members. 



Q: Who can join Engineering Alliance Minnesota?

  • All engineers regardless of licensure status
  • Students enrolled in an engineering program (undergraduate or graduate)

Q: Can I deduct my Engineering Alliance Minnesota dues?

Engineering Alliance Minnesota membership dues may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. For the June 2019 - July 2020 fiscal year, 15% of Engineering Alliance Minnesota dues is not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense to the extent that Engineering Alliance Minnesota allocates membership dues to lobbying activities.
